The Workshop

Where time machines are born

My workshop in the village of Visoko, high above Ljubljana, is the heart of everything I do. Far above the city bustle, I create watches using traditional tools and modern precision — pieces that are both works of art and precise measuring instruments.

The crafting process

01

Design

Every watch begins with a sketch. I shape the case form, select materials, and define the character of the watch.

02

Metalwork

On the lathe and with hand tools, I shape the case from a raw piece of brass, copper, or steel.

03

Engraving

Hand engraving adds a unique pattern to each piece — from geometric lines to organic motifs.

04

Patination

Controlled oxidation gives the metal character and depth. Each piece develops a unique tone.

05

Assembly

The movement is precisely assembled, lubricated, and regulated. Every gear must fit perfectly.

06

Quality control

Final inspection includes water resistance testing, accuracy verification, and aesthetic review.
